Here is your detention schedule until the end of term. If your behavior is above reproach, you will not have to continue these next term and may return to your Quidditch activities.
Monday and Tuesday 4:30-6:30 Detention with Professor Andrews

I've finally found someone to take over my Transfiguration classes. Lulu Abendroth will be joining us shortly. She was working as an Auror until her injury, so I think she'll make a welcome addition.

Minerva had arrived early in the teacher's lounge and sat there reading through the last bit of the Daily Prophet that she had missed during breafast that morning. Several other scrolls and pieces of parchment sat curling in front of her.

Oh for pity's sake
Professor Burbage has just handed in her resignation. I've had to call in an American, Mercedes Andrews, who applied this summer, to fill her slot. And that should give you some idea how hard it is to come by good teachers. Burbage will be finishing out the class week, thank goodness, and Ms. Andrews could be arriving as early as tomorrow afternoon.
I would like to have a staff meeting tomorrow evening. Ms. Andrews will join us if she has arrived.

"Your homework for tonight is to write me a 2 ft. essay on the laws that prohibit using Transfiguration on antoher human being for punishment." McGonagall said to her 7th years. "As always I expect it on my desk before the strat of the next class period. Class dismissed." McGonagall walked back to her desk to neatly pack up her things, while also waiting for Promise to come up to her so she could speak with her.

Minerva sat at her desk, once again studying the picture of James, Lily, and an infanct Harry Potter. She couldn't sleep again the night before, and it was finally getting to her. Shaking her head violently, she grabbed a short roll of parchment and began to write ( a letter to Harry. )
Minerva finished her letter and tied the parchment shut just as a barn owl flew in through her window, dropping off the morning mail. Minerva held up the roll of parchment. "Feel up to making one more journey?"
The owl puffed up its chest with pride and hooted for the roll. Minerva repaid it with a small gingersnap, and after a moment, the owl was out the window, letter and all. She watched it for a moment, but not too long later, the small crease of worry returned in between her eyebrows. Instead of thinking about it for the afternoon, she transformed into her animagus tabby, curled up in her office chair and took a cat nap.
...
Not too long later in the day, Harry saw the owl coming from outside Ron's window...
